Proposed Response Text: Thank you for your inquiry, The appropriate database selection for the operation outlined in this inquiry is: Perform OCS Re-Calibration...0.3m The published labor allowance to Perform OCS Re-Calibration was developed in conjunction with the OEM for the Toyota Recommended Repair Procedure. Add to Initialize Occupant Detection ECU has been removed from the database. Initialization/Calibration of other systems have not been factored into this labor allowance and would not be included.

Issue Summary: In Air Bag System > Add to Initialize Occupant Detection ECU. System only provides .4. However procedure from Toyota states: "1. ZERO POINT CALIBRATION AND SENSITIVITY CHECK (a) Zero point calibration and sensitivity check procedure (1) Check that both of the following conditions are met: The vehicle is parked on a level surface. No objects are placed on the front passenger seat. (2) Adjust the seat position according to the table below. ADJUSTMENT ITEM POSITION Slide Direction Rearmost position Headrest Height Lowest position Recline Angle Upright position (3) Turn the ignition switch off. (4) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. (5) Turn the ignition switch to ON. (6) Turn the Techstream on. (7) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Occupant Detection / Utility / Zero Point Calibration & Sensitivity Check. (8) Perform zero point calibration and sensitivity check by following the prompts on the Techstream screen. NOTICE: Do not allow the weight to come into contact with the seatback when placing it on the seat cushion. Place the weight in the area shown in the illustration. Text in Illustration *1 Weight Position OK: "Zero Point Calibration is complete." and "Sensitivity Check is complete." are displayed. HINT: When performing sensitivity check, use a solid metal weight (the check result may not appear properly if a liquid weight is used). Refer to the Techstream operator's manual for further details. If zero point calibration does not complete, replace the front seat frame with adjuster assembly RH. If sensitivity deviates from the specified range, retighten the bolts of the front passenger seat without deforming the seat rail. After performing this procedure, if sensitivity is not within the specified range, replace the front seat frame with adjuster assembly RH."

Suggested Action: Need to be AT LEAST 1 hour Mechanical. It's .5 just to hook up the scan tool alone + All these steps, plus time to read through all these steps need to be factored in to the labor timer as well.
