Inquiry Type: Procedure Page Issue
Area of Vehicle: Front Door
Issue Summary: In the RACED Guide to estimating, the front and rear door included operations states that it includes the interior trim panel, but it lists the transfer of useable components to the replacement door as not included operations. Since the trim panel is a component that is typically transferred from the original door (as long as it is salvageable) to the LKQ replacement, should additional labor be allowed? When manually selecting the R&I of the trim panel on an LKQ replacement, CCC allows the labor hours to populate the line item. Typically, if the system recognizes the operation as included, it will automatically change the operation labor to show "Incl". Please see the screen shot of the supplement provided as an example for this vehicle.
Suggested Action: If the trim panel labor should not be "included" in the RACED guide when replacing an LKQ door, please update the RACED guide to reflect the same.
